Common questions
Which class should a complete beginner take?
Mat Pilates is the classic starting point — it teaches the foundational principles. If you’re curious about the Reformer, look for Reformer Foundations or an all-levels class and mention it’s your first time; the instructor will guide you.
Do I need to be flexible or fit to start?
No. Pilates builds flexibility and strength from day one. Our classes are small enough that instructors tailor movements to your body.
What if I have an injury?
Email us before you book and arrive a few minutes early. Our instructors are trained to offer safe modifications — and we always recommend checking with your healthcare provider first.
Can I visit both studios?
Only select memberships can be used at both Wilson (North York) and Lakeshore (Etobicoke). Email us to find out if yours includes both locations.
How do I contact the studio?
All correspondence is handled strictly by email at calmheartst@gmail.com.
